One sunny summer afternoon I was standing on the porch, when I saw some pretty roses on a bush. Because it was my mother’s birthday that day, I thought I would pick a couple for her. I walked over and reached up to pluck my favourite rose. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE SMELL!! They had a wonderfully strong scent, a little like raspberries and cream. They were the nicest roses I had ever smelt! I was sure mum would love them. So I picked a couple off and ran inside to give them to mum and she really loved them.
